  1. SET-SHOW AUTO_PURGE
  2.  
  3. Determines whether or not MAIL empties the WASTEBASKET folder when you enter 
  4. the EXIT or SET FILE command. When you use the SET NOAUTO_PURGE command, you
  5. must enter the PURGE command periodically to delete the messages in the
  6. WASTEBASKET folder. The default you establish with the SET AUTO_PURGE command
  7. remains in effect until you enter the SET NOAUTO_PURGE command.

  9. The SHOW AUTO_PURGE command indicates whether or not you have used the SET
  10. AUTO_PURGE command.
